Evaluation

1. I think my audience's expectation would be something that catches their attention to the eye. They would expect to see a plot that encourages adrenaline which would spark the "action" to progress in the film. Commonly in an action films my audience would love to see popular stars name on the billing block before they watch the movie because it gives them a brief idea of how this movie could be like if they watch it. For example, they would base my movie on the way that actor has given a certain amount of energy to previous movies and it would encourage/discourage the audience to watch my film. In addition to that, I have included a lot of big stars to my movie so i have no doubt that my audience would be discouraged to watch my film.
2. The emotional response i would love to receive from my target audience is excitement because my movie will contain "ooh ahh" scenes and unrealistic events happening but at the same time i wouldn't want to encourage my viewers to do what ever is seen in my movie as it isn't safe to do and it's a professional's job to do stunts/unrealistic activities. I also want the audience to think about how the film is being portrayed, the way the characters are dressed, how they act, clothing and also body language as i want my film to be based on real life society to show the viewers of the film how life is like in today's day.
3. I feel like my promotion pack is an effective preview because it gives people a time to look at it in detail or even have a quick glance at the poster for instance, and for example the use of a dark background and individual images over it (actors & props) it attracts the person viewing the poster to read more about it whilst that one or 2 images catches their attention.
4. I've had a couple of people say that it's a good idea and a good film concept and i've also had feedback on what i could of made better, such as the poster design, how i could of added the whole set of characters on there and also make Megan's face stand out a lot more. I've also had complaints on the set of characters too how Kevin Spacey wasn't a good villain to choose from despite him being a popular choice through the survey. People who thought that suggested that they didn't want a check box with options, they just wanted to write down an actors name, but to be honest if i went for that option then it would be hard for me to choose a villain as i know that everyone would have their own preference and it would be harder for me to narrow the final choice down based on the amount of times that "actor" was suggested.
5. I feel like i could have start the beginning of my film with some mid-fighting action instead of a race because this will engage a lot more viewers and i'll leave the racing till later in the movie, i also felt as if i could branch on other Production Companies so i could really get my film out there and make massive profit in return, really and truly i think this would be the best selling point for my film and become a box office hit if all of the above was done to the final version of the film.

Task 2: Styles, Conventions & Techniques Of Music Videos

Styles, Conventions & Techniques Of Music Videos Everything produced in media has codes and conventions and music videos are no exception. A code or convention is like a guideline of rules that music videos often follow that are always dependable on genre or style. The main conventions for music videos relate to camera shots and angles, editing, lyric interpretation, extending or consolidating songs meanings and allusion. Lyric Interpretation - lyrics being shown as a music video and this catches the audiences attention and it could make them sing along or even understand what the song is about. (Lyrical Video from The Chainsmokers - Closer) Extending or consolidating   - Extending or consolidating a song's meaning in a music video is when you use symbolism and things in the mis-en-scene to further push the meaning of the song or to add more of a meaning to a song or to just bring the lyrics together into a visual explanation of what the song actu...

Research Of Own Film

Name Of Film: Too Brisk, Too Quick The idea i have for making this film is a sequel of a group of people racing and also it will involve action too (bringing down villains and enemies). I hope to base my film on the famous "Fast And Furious" franchise as it is such an eye popping film and it is very interesting. Production Companies Orignal Film Relativity Media One Race Films Media Rights Capital Perfect World Pictures EuropaCorp TF1 Films Production Genre Of Film I am going to make a movie based on racing but also an involvement of Action & Drama too. The reason why i am including sub-genres is because a movie with just cars and racing could potentially become boring to most of the viewers and to avoid this from happening is by adding different scenes in to add excitement and stimulate more adrenaline through the viewer. Also by adding more genres to this film would help the film have more of a meaning to why it was made other than just cars racing for...

Single Camera Production Assignment

Introduction Single camera production is the use of one camera within the media production, whether it be a music video, short film or even a movie. Single camera production also tends to use different camera angles and often requires a lot of editing after shooting. Single camera production is commonly associated with low budget films & film companies as they haven't got sufficient funding to purchase many high quality cameras for a film production. Advantages & Disadvantages Of Single Camera Production The advantages of a single camera production is that it makes the viewer feel like they are in the scene with one continuos shot. This encourages the viewer to feel more emotions than a film with more than one camera because the use of one camera establishes that the viewer is at the exact scene in real time. Another advantage is that it is cheap, this is good for low budget film producers as they don't have as much money to purchase more than one camera. Consideri...
